Finn Limited Edition

Product Description
Finn, or Finnish Landrace, are descendants of native Scandinavian breeds and have been around for several hundred years. They are hardy and well-adapted to harsh conditions in the far north. They’re small, mature early, and are valued for their lambing abilities—they give birth easily to several lambs at a time. They were ubiquitous on small holdings in Scandinavia, living close to families and providing milk and meat through long winter months.
Finn fleece has a relatively soft hand, but the fiber is more silky than wooly, with a subtle luster and silky hand. A moderate amount of even crimp gives it elasticity. The sheep can be colored gray or brown. We’ve blended colors to make two lovely shades of silvery oatmeal—one light, one dark—to go with basic white.Specifications
