Notes

One of my strongest memories from childhood is watching bright lush green cut for hay, fading to light green and gold in the sun. This pattern was inspired by that visual. 

Finished Measurements 
17 ¾” / 45 cm brim circumference and 8 ½” / 21.5 cm height with brim folded. Hat fits an adult’s 20-23” / 51-58.5 cm circumference head.

MC: Alfalfa 01, 1 skein 
CC1: Alfalfa 02, 1 skein
CC2: Alfalfa 03, 1 skein

Needles
US 6 [4.0 mm] for cast on: 16” / 40 cm circ
US 7 [4.5 mm] for rib trim: 16” / 40 cm circ
US 8 [5.0 mm] for main hat: 16” / 40 cm circ and DPNs, or longer
circ if you use the Magic Loop method
or size needed to obtain gauge.
